Benoit Laignel has accepted to sponsor the candidacy of Rouen European Capital of Culture 2028. A member of the international IPCC, president of the regional IPCC, Benoit Laignel is a professor at the University of Rouen.
“I agreed to become a sponsor of Rouen Seine Normande 2028, because this candidature conveys the extremely original idea of culture in its broadest sense, a culture that in particular includes the culture of risk and multi-risks. By taking into account these dimensions, the candidature features a genuine strength that could make a difference.”
Benoît Laignel is also the Vice-President of the University of Rouen Normandie in charge of Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility.
