I’m delighted to be a sponsor of the candidacy of Rouen Seine Normande 2028 as European Capital of Culture. This candidacy evokes in particular the cliffs of the Côte d’Albâtre, which form my poetic anchorage, my “true place”, in the words of the poet Yves Bonnefoy. The presence of nature in Normandie continues to be a deep source of inspiration. This nature weaves close connections between beings, the arts and eras – connections that I want to see constantly being extended.”
